This is definitely an unexpected twist. The acting Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike during a press briefing in Abuja this morning told journalist that the Federal Government has given the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) one week ultimatum to call off the ongoing strike.

ReplyDeleteI think FG should just give them what they want at least the president gets 365 million naira for his kitchen cabinet amongst all other allowances. Ask other ministers also embezzle more than this. Asuu members too are humans. I really think federal government should answer them because the money is there and they promised to pay it some years back.
