The man slumped at the entrance of the
domestic hall terminal 1 of the Murtala
Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
A transit passenger aboard an Arik flight en
route from London-Lagos-Owerri slumped at
the entrance of the departure hall of the
domestic terminal 1 of the Murtala Muhammed
Airport, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday.
The General Manager, Corporate
Communications, Federal Airports Authority of
Nigeria, FAAN, Yakubu Dati, confirmed the
development in a text message.
"The man slumped at about 0600 hours on
Sunday and died later," Mr. Dati said.
Mr. Dati who did not disclose the man's name,
said he slumped and was immediately rushed
to the Aviation Clinic within the airport where
he was confirmed dead.
The passenger's wife and brother, who were
said to be with the deceased, later proceeded to
Owerri, Mr. Dati said in the message.
